This Privacy Policy explains what information Petopia collects, how we use it, where it is stored, and what choices you have.
Petopia is an iOS app that provides pet breed identification, pet information, care reminders, local pet service search, and user feedback/suggestion features.
Petopia does not request government-issued identifiers (such as passport or national ID) and does not require your legal name to use core features.
Some data is still linked to your app account/profile context (for example, an Apple account identifier) even if it does not directly identify you in the real world.
Depending on the features you use, Petopia may collect the following categories of data:

Petopia uses Apple CloudKit (private and public databases) for app functionality. Account and favorites data are primarily stored in private CloudKit records.
Suggestions and feedback workflows may store records in CloudKit public databases for processing/status purposes. These records can include your Apple user identifier and submitted content. Do not submit sensitive personal data in free-text fields.
Petopia reads pet encyclopedia content and certain status data from Google Sheets endpoints. This is used to load pet data and administrative status updates.
Local Services uses Apple location and map search services to find nearby pet services.
We do not sell your personal data.
Petopia is not designed for third-party advertising tracking and does not use collected data for cross-app tracking.
Petopia is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us to request deletion.
Data may be processed in Apple and service-provider infrastructure that can operate in multiple regions.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the effective date when changes are made.
